Prairie Song Alliance exists to strengthen Edmonton’s local music community by bringing artists, venues, businesses, and audiences into meaningful relationship with one another.

We believe great music scenes are built through connection. When artists have opportunities to develop their craft and share it with an audience, venues become gathering places, local businesses benefit from increased community engagement, and audiences discover the unique value of live, local music.

Our role is simple: to help create those connections. Through performances, partnerships, mentorship, and community events, Prairie Song Alliance works to build sustainable pathways for musicians while helping locally owned businesses become active participants in Edmonton’s cultural life.

Since launching in 2025, Prairie Song Alliance has helped facilitate hundreds of paid performances across the Edmonton region, creating opportunities for artists, strengthening partnerships with local businesses, and contributing to a more vibrant and connected community.
