What is a PSA PAL?

Prairie Song Alliance PALs are Partners in Art and Living who believe that music, community, and local business all thrive when they grow together. Through one-time or monthly support, PALs help create opportunities for musicians to perform, develop their craft, and receive fair compensation for their work.

Every contribution strengthens the connections between artists, locally owned businesses, and the audiences who support them. Simply put, PALs help make it possible for creators to create, communities to gather, and local music to flourish.

A monthly gift is one of the most meaningful ways to support Prairie Song Alliance. Consistent support allows us to plan ahead, create new opportunities for artists, strengthen partnerships with locally owned businesses, and continue building a thriving music community in Edmonton and beyond.

Whether you choose to give $10, $20, $50, $100, or $500 per month, every contribution helps make live music more sustainable for the artists who create it and the communities that enjoy it.

As a Monthly PAL, you'll also be invited to participate in a few special community traditions:

Monthly PAL Draw

Every month, one PAL will be selected to receive a $50 gift card from one of our locally owned business partners.

There are no tiers and no additional entries for larger gifts. Whether you contribute $10 or $500, every PAL who supports PSA during that month receives one entry in the draw.

PSA PALs Showcase

Each year, around June 8, Prairie Song Alliance's anniversary, we gather our supporters, artists, venue partners, and friends for the PSA PALs Showcase.

This special event celebrates another year of growing stronger together through music and community, featuring performances by artists from the PSA network and an opportunity to connect with the people who make this work possible.

Prairie Song Alliance Live Music Activation Kits make it possible to bring live music into cafés, patios, markets, festivals, community events, and other gathering spaces with minimal setup and maximum impact.

Each kit includes:

- A professional busking amplifier

- Two microphones

- Two microphone stands

- Two microphone cables

- Two instrument cables

- A portable artist sign with tipping information

Together, these simple tools create a complete, portable performance system that allows artists to share their music almost anywhere while being supported directly by audiences.

A contribution of $1,500 sponsors one complete Activation Kit and helps PSA expand opportunities for local musicians throughout our community.

As a Kit Sponsor, your logo will be displayed on the portable artist sign whenever the kit is deployed. These signs identify performers, encourage audience tipping, and recognize the community partners who make live music possible.
